Encouraging & Promoting Hope

As a society, we have come so far from depending on the Word of God for the answer to our every situation. Most of us immediately go to our own solutions without ever consulting Jehovah Jireh—Our Provider. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not to your own understanding. There are so many ways that even Christians fail to trust in the Lord. One such area is trusting God for healing. We should trust Isaiah 53:5—But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds, we are healed. Hallelujah! Healed physically, healed mentally, healed emotionally, and healed spiritually. WE- yes, we have the power to pray for our own healings as well as for the healing of others.
